I'm still fairly new to this place, barely 4 months and I haven't even got to presenting myself yet (it will come!) but this first journal will have to be a Big thank you to a lot of people.
I think my top comment amount ever was about 11, though this sunday when I logged in I was met by this:



I could hardly believe what I saw, how could I possibly..?
My image 'Magicka huts' [link] had been awarded with a Daily Deviation! And I've been thinking I'll be lucky if I ever manage to earn one of those and here it happens!

The biggest thanks goes to who suggested my image for a DD, and to who featured it.
I also want to thank everyone who has faved and left comments at my deviation. I will not be able to thank everyone who has faved personally but I will reply to all comments from people who has asked anything or mentioned anything in particular about the image. It just might go a little slow, there are many of you!

I've never before joined a place full of complete strangers and felt so at home from the beginning. I have a good feeling about this community, about the people, ideas, resources and just the will to be helpful. I always leave inspired and I will try to give back whatever I can.
